We are seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to turn business requirements into practical, high-value AI-enabled solutions, trusted analytic outputs, and decision-support experiences.

This is a delivery-focused applied AI role. The person in this role will work directly with business stakeholders to clarify goals, translate ambiguous needs into scalable solutions, work hands-on with enterprise data in Snowflake, and apply deep expertise in OpenAI, Claude, and related AI tools to deliver business-ready outcomes.

The focus of this role is the last mile of enterprise data and AI: transforming governed data into outputs that business and executive users can easily consume and act on, including AI-enabled analytics, natural-language query experiences, narrative summaries, decision-support tools, copilots, and executive-ready insights.

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to clarify goals, gather requirements, define success criteria, and translate ambiguous business questions into scalable AI-enabled solutions.

• Work directly with enterprise data in Snowflake to source, model, validate, and ground outputs in trusted business data.

• Build and deliver AI-enabled solutions such as natural-language query, narrative summarization, conversational analytics, decision-support tools, lightweight copilots, and automated analytic workflows.

• Use OpenAI, Claude, and related AI platforms to design and implement practical business solutions that improve speed, insight quality, and decision-making.

• Design prompts, workflows, grounding approaches, evaluation methods, and guardrails so outputs are reliable, consistent, and business-safe.

• Write advanced SQL and, where needed, Python for analysis, prototyping, workflow automation, testing, and solution development.

• Create reusable solution patterns, documentation, and business-facing assets that reduce one-off analysis and improve consistency across teams.

• 5+ years of experience in applied analytics, analytics engineering, business intelligence, AI-enabled analytics, or similar business-facing solution roles.

• Proven experience translating business requirements into shipped solutions, not just analyses or prototypes.

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenAI, Claude, and similar AI platforms in practical business settings.

• Strong ability to design and deliver AI-enabled workflows using prompt design, grounding, evaluation, summarization, conversational analytics, semantic retrieval, or related patterns.

• Strong hands-on skills in SQL and experience working with enterprise data in Snowflake.

• Ability to combine structured enterprise data with LLM-based workflows to produce useful, grounded, and trusted outputs.

• Experience building business-facing outputs for stakeholder and executive audiences.

• Strong communication skills and judgment around data quality, governance, consistency, and trustworthiness of AI and analytics outputs.

• Experience with Python for analysis, prototyping, workflow automation, or solution integration.

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex or similar AI capabilities embedded in modern data platforms.

• Experience with NLQ, text-to-SQL, conversational analytics, semantic search, RAG, or AI evaluation patterns over enterprise data.

• Experience with BI and analytic app tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Hex, Streamlit, or similar.

• Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) or other legacy reporting environments, especially where reporting modernization is in scope.

• Experience with workflow automation, orchestration, or agentic patterns in enterprise environments.

• Business needs are quickly translated into reliable, usable AI-enabled solutions grounded in trusted Snowflake data.

• Delivered outputs create measurable business value rather than remaining as prototypes or one-off experiments.

• Stakeholders can consume the outputs confidently because the logic, data grounding, and guardrails are clear.

• The engineer establishes repeatable patterns that make AI-enabled analytics faster, more consistent, and easier to scale.

• This is not a core data engineering role responsible for foundational ingestion, platform infrastructure, or large-scale pipeline ownership.

• This is not a pre-sales solutions engineer role.

• This is not an ML research or model-training role.

• This is not a traditional BI reporting role centered only on dashboards and static reporting.

The target profile is AI depth + delivery speed + business translation. This role is best suited for a builder who can take a business request, work with the relevant data, design the AI workflow, and deliver a usable output quickly.

Pay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually.

 

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
