Portal Space Systems is a Seattle-based space start-up solving the need for mobility in space. Our flagship product, the Supernova satellite bus, is engineered for rapid and long-range in-space maneuverability. Our payload-agnostic, 500 kg spacecraft features a novel solar-thermal propulsion system, which enables an ultra-high delta-v, a 50X improvement over existing products on the market. The company was founded in 2021 by industry leader Jeff Thornburg, alongside COO Ian Vorbach and VP of Engineering Prashaanth Ravindran. We are on a mission to empower the next generation of space operators to maintain space superiority.
