Head of Content Marketing

Hi, my name is Gabriel and I'm the founder of Y/n.

Y/n is an app where you can create, share, and play interactive stories. For example, you can play a boarding school transfer student and get the boys to fall in love with you, or figure out a jailbreak with Sherlock Holmes. Your choices change the story and how characters feel about you (oops!) — so no two playthroughs are the same (but you can rewind).

A few facts about Y/n:

• We launched 8 months ago and are already one of the top books apps in the world (reached #4 this month).
• On average, users spend almost 4 hours a day in the app.
• We raised $14M from top VCs.
• We're still a small team of 3 people.

We're looking for a Head of Content Marketing to bring Y/n to the masses. You'd be the face of our marketing: shooting videos, managing ads, and recruiting/managing creators.

What we expect from you:

• You've made an Instagram or TikTok video with at least 100k views, or grown an account past 10k followers.
• You get fandom, read romance & fanfiction... or both!
• You're great at cold email.
• You're based in (or willing to relocate to) San Francisco or Los Angeles.
• This is a full-time role.

Interview Process

• You send us (1) a link to the best-performing (or favorite) video you made (2) a writing sample.
• We review it and set up time to talk.
• We set up a take-home exam is a UGC video for Y/n, then we make a decision.
