We are looking for an Aircraft Technician II (S2) to join our Flight Test Maintenance team. The goal of an Aircraft Technician II at Wisk is to support the safe and efficient operation of the flight test facility by assisting with aircraft maintenance, inspections, and ground operations.
You will be part of the Test and Flight Operations Team, supporting the maintenance and readiness of Wisk aircraft used in flight testing activities.
Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Hollister Flight Test office.
In this role, you will support experienced technicians and engineers in maintaining aircraft to a high standard of safety and airworthiness. Through hands-on maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and accurate documentation, you will help ensure the aircraft are prepared for flight test operations.
The Aircraft Technician II plays an important role in the daily execution of maintenance tasks, supporting the team in keeping aircraft flightworthy and ready for testing activities.

You will assist with aircraft ground operations, including pre-flight and post-flight servicing.
You will help maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and documentation.
You will contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to aircraft systems.
You will support test events and operational activities at the flight test facility.
You will help maintain safe work practices and adhere to all company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
The successful candidate typically has 1-2 years of aircraft maintenance experience and demonstrated hands-on experience in the following areas:
Hold a current and valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
Hands-on experience performing aircraft maintenance, inspections, or repairs within a general aviation or similar aviation environment.
Basic familiarity with aircraft systems including airframe structures, propulsion systems, avionics installations, and mechanical systems.
Ability to follow maintenance procedures, technical documentation, and engineering instructions.
Ability to work safely in a hangar and flight test environment while adhering to regulatory and company safety standards.
Working knowledge of common aircraft maintenance tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to properly document maintenance work.
Basic familiarity with digital maintenance tracking systems and documentation tools.
Ability and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and internal software used to track aircraft maintenance activities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while supporting senior technicians and engineers.
This role will require less than 10% travel.
Desired
Experience working on general aviation aircraft or experimental aircraft.
Familiarity with aircraft maintenance documentation including logbook entries, work orders, and regulatory paperwork.
Experience assisting with aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced flight test or R&D environment where aircraft configurations may change frequently.
A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative, learn quickly, and support team objectives.
Hands-on maintenance experience on general aviation aircraft such as Cessna fixed-wing aircraft, Glasair Sportsman, or Bell 206 helicopters.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay range the company expects to pay: $35 - $43 per hour - The starting base rate within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
