We are looking for a Flight Line Quality Inspector to join our team. The goal of this role at Wisk is to effectively Inspect, validate requirements and help support the overall Quality team become stronger. You will be part of the Quality Organization which validates the aircraft build meets engineering requirements while effectively partnering with our production counterparts.
Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Hollister office.
Responsibilities
Inspect maintenance actions, rework and modifications performed in the flight test environment.
Validate the aircraft is in safe condition prior to test flights.
Validate aircraft and engine logbooks are being updated appropriately by the Flight Test team.
Perform periodic audits on tool control, and other flight test processes.
Write Nonconformance Reports (NCR’s) as needed.
Represent the Quality Team when collaborating with our flight test counterparts.
You will support the Flight Line inspection team, Flight Test personnel and Engineering personnel and work with them in a collaborative manner.
You will help support problem solving activities that arise from inspections performed and partner with Quality Engineering to identify causes and solutions.
You will help coordinate inspections that need to be performed and release the aircraft for safe flight.
As a Flight Line Quality Inspector, you will help define the future inspection techniques from lessons learned.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of flight line and/or flight test experience in aerospace production or R&D environment
Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
Strong knowledge of record keeping, aircraft maintenance, tool control, FOD control.
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, Quality processes and tools required to perform duties.
You have a strong and applied understanding of interpreting drawings & specifications and are able to perform practical measurements of in service aircraft to make inspection determinations.
Preferred but not Required
Certified level 2 in NDT method of Ultrasonic inspection in accordance with NAS410 or equivalent.

Pay range the company expects to pay: $148,000 - $185,000 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
