Solutions Engineer

We have a special opening which is best described as mini-founder engineer. It's both a customer-focused solution engineering role, and a senior lead engineering role for our Paris office. Let me explain:

Windmill has a super efficient sales pipeline due to hyper qualified leads:

- Customers do intros with us, 80% will do a 1-month trial

- Of those, 80% will take an enterprise license

- Customers give us ample feedback and feature requests on their dedicated Slack channels.

So aside from intro calls and a few other exceptional calls, most of it is gonna by async writing with customers, that are all engineers, where it's not about being a great sales person but a great solutions engineer. As a solutions engineer, you may either do the fix yourself, or delegate to the rest of the engineering team. You will have also sufficiently of spare time to work on bigger features as well. As such, you will be the person with the most context on who are our customers, what do they want, but also what are the constraints on our roadmap and what we can and should deliver or not.

So we're looking for that special unicorn that has the skills necessary to be a senior engineer at Windmill but also not afraid to handle customers directly. You will be the alter ego of our current unicorn Alexander Petric in the US.

Amazing nimble team, with a product loved by its customers. It's a lot of fun and we're growing very strongly in enterprise ($1M -> $2M ARR last 6 months, July 25). It's a unique chance to take a core seat in this rocketship.

Competitive compensation between 60-90k, in person 3d a week in Paris.
