Job Summary:

Each Vice President General Manager is the senior executive responsible for Voyager Technologies’ individual line of business, with full P&L ownership across a broad. This role leads strategy, execution, and performance, overseeing distributed teams to ensure cost, quality, schedule, and margin discipline.

A hands-on operator, this leader will strengthen operating rigor, build scalable systems and teams, and play a central role in integrating new product groups as Voyager expands its platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide full P&L leadership for the Products business, with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, bookings, and execution against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Own and execute the business unit’s strategic roadmap and operating model, balancing near-term delivery commitments with long-term growth, innovation, and market positioning.
  • Lead day-to-day operations across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, program management, business development, people, and finance, ensuring alignment to cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Drive operational excellence through disciplined execution, capacity planning, cost control, ERP utilization, labor tracking, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
  • Lead the transition of key programs from development into LRIP and full-rate production, establishing scalable schedules, cost structures, and production models.
  • Partner with Business Development to align product strategies, market segmentation, and pipeline execution with customer demand and profitable growth.
  • Engage directly with key customers and strategic programs, serving as a senior external-facing leader, including participation in classified program environments.
  • Integrate distributed groups under one singular line of business unit, which may include future acquisitions and facilities into a cohesive, scalable platform.
  • Build and sustain a high-performance, mission-first culture across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and finance, grounded in accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA preferred.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance (requires US citizenship)
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in Aerospace, Space, Defense, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success managing P&L, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, cost control, operational readiness, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization.
  • Established network in the Aerospace/Defense industry, with familiarity in compliance, government contracting, and federal programs; experience engaging with DoD, prime contractor customers, Boards, investors, and clients.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams across engineering, production, manufacturing, operations, program management, finance, quality, and supply chain in multi-site or matrixed organizations.
  • Experience with ERP systems, labor tracking, KPIs, and operational performance measurement.
  • Hands-on, visible leadership style credible with engineers, operators, customers, and executive leadership alike.
  • Experience in growth-stage, acquisition-driven, or complex organizational environments preferred.
  • Active or previously held Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance strongly preferred; ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with flexibility for on-site presence in key locations.
