Senior Engineer (contract to hire)

Versable is an AI data enhancement platform for legacy markets. Today, we’re helping auto parts manufacturers and retailers automatically create market ready listings at scale. We aim to be the go to data management platform across all adjacent industries, including construction, manufacturing, industrials, aero space, etc..

We’ve been featured in articles like USA Today, LA Weekly, honored in publications like Forbes 30U30, and have a network of strong investors including YC, Bling Capital, Canaan Partners, Soma Capital, etc..

We’re looking for a product driven engineer with a strong sense of ownership. As with any early stage startup, our value proposition is being scrappy and moving fast, with an emphasis on great cross functional communication and an intuitive user experience.

Our interview process is designed to find these types of engineers. You will be heavily involved with the build of product and engineering, and this is a great opportunity to join at the ground floor and see how a YC startup moves from day 1.

We are based in LA, and have a preference for LA based engineers, but are open to remote developers. Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, with 2+ years at a startup, and experience dealing with large datasets and AI models.
