As a Founding Full Stack Engineer, you won't just write code, you'll shape the core of a product that's already changing how companies grow. You'll own features end-to-end, from database to UI, and see your work directly drive customer success. You'll build alongside the founders, talk to real users, and make decisions that define our technical direction for years to come.

What you’ll drive

This is not a role where you'll be handed specs and expected to execute. You'll work on a product that's live, growing, and used daily by sales teams across Europe. You'll shape what we build and how we build it.

You will:

• Own and develop core product features across our entire stack (Python/FastAPI backend, TypeScript/React frontend)
• Collaborate directly with founders and customers to conceptualize, design, and ship new features
• Make architectural decisions that balance speed, scalability, and maintainability
• Debug production issues, optimize performance, and ensure our platform stays reliable as we scale
• Contribute to a codebase that leverages cutting-edge AI and help us push its boundaries further

You bring:

• Significant experience as a full-stack engineer, ideally at a senior level
• Strong backend skills in Python
• Solid knowledge in TypeScript and React
• Experience operating software at scale in production environments
• Fluent English with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
• Genuine alignment with our purpose (our why) and our values (our how)

Nice to have:

• Experience designing multi-tenancy SaaS architectures
• Familiarity with modern AI coding tools such as Cursor
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure
• German language skills to communicate with our mostly German customer base

This is not a job where you'll work on isolated tickets or follow rigid processes defined by others.

• You won't wait for product specs, you'll help figure it out.
• You won't optimize for code coverage metrics, you'll optimize for customer impact.

Interview Process

1. Introductory Zoom Call (15–20 min)
A short call with our CTO to get to know each other and align on expectations.

2. Take-Home Assignment
You’ll receive a coding assignment - a mini version of Venta AI - built with our actual tech stack (Python/FastAPI backend + TypeScript/React frontend). You can complete it in your own time and are welcome to use AI coding tools. All expectations and requirements are detailed in the README.

3. Follow-Up Code Review Call (30 min)
A call with one of our team members to walk through your submission and discuss your approach.

4. On-Site Interview in Amsterdam
Join us for lunch at our office, followed by a 45-minute whiteboard session focused on system design and rapid prototyping.

We typically make an offer the next day (pending a standard background check). We never contact referees without your permission.
The full process usually takes 7–10 days.
