Vast is looking for a Operations Specialist II, reporting to the Director of Operations, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach headquarters.

Responsibilities

Independently coordinate equipment moves and storage logistics.
Obtain vendor bids and assist with contractor selection.
Coordinate offsite storage for excess equipment and supplies.
Review floor plans and drawings to support space planning and layouts.
Order, track, and manage supplies for assigned areas.
Lead setup and coordination for small-to-medium events.
Serve as point of contact for specific operational projects or zones.
Communicate timelines, scope, and status updates to stakeholders.
Identify process improvements and operational gaps.

Problem-solving with limited information.
Cross-functional communication.
Adaptability in fast-changing environments.

Additional Requirements:

Works independently with minimal supervision.
Manages priorities across multiple tasks or projects.

Pay Range:

Operations Specialist: $112,000 - $159,000
