Vantor is seeking a Foundational Military Intelligence (FMI) Mission Enablement Lead to serve as the Product Manager for mission-critical FMI applications, ensuring tools effectively support analytic workflows, user needs, and mission outcomes. This role bridges users, developers, and leadership to drive sustainment, adoption, and continuous improvement. While grounded in FMI domain expertise, the position is a growth-oriented product leadership role with increasing responsibility in technical and product ownership.
Responsibilities:
This position is full time onsite in Reston, VA.
Own FMI applications (e.g., MARS, IPA), prioritizing sustainment, user needs, and mission alignment
Engage with users to understand workflows, identify gaps, and translate needs into user stories and backlog priorities
Triage and manage bugs, issues, and enhancement requests; ensure visibility and communication across stakeholders
Collaborate with developers, Requirements Manager, and cybersecurity stakeholders to support delivery and resolve issues
Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives) and support team execution
Lead or support training, documentation, and adoption efforts to improve user effectiveness
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a software product development, intelligence analysis, or mission systems environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Agile/Scrum teams
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and translate user needs into actionable requirements
Experience supporting issue identification, root cause analysis, and resolution in a team-based environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Foundational Military Intelligence (FMI) or related intelligence discipline
Hands-on experience with FMI tools such as MARS, IPA, or similar mission systems
Experience in a Product Owner, SME, or team lead role supporting software or mission systems
Familiarity with backlog management, user stories, and prioritization in a product environment
Experience supporting software sustainment, user support, or operational systems
Familiarity with cybersecurity processes (e.g., RMF, Xacta)

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $118,000.00 - $196,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
