About the Role

Trackstar is hiring a solutions engineer (2–4 years of experience) to join our team in NYC. This is a hybrid technical and customer-facing role – you'll split your time between hands-on engineering work and direct customer interaction. This role involves close collaboration with the engineering team and founders. 

Trackstar integrates with 135+ supply chain systems, each with its own quirks. You'll work across these platforms, contribute to the codebase, and ensure customers have a seamless experience.

About You

• 2–4 years in a technical role (solutions engineering, dev support, or software engineering)
• Clear communicator – comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong debugging skills – able to read logs, query databases, and trace code
• Proficient in reading and writing production code (Python or TypeScript) 
• Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Ability to take ownership of projects end-to-end

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical contact for customers in dedicated Slack channels
• Debug and fix production issues end-to-end, from log analysis to shipping code fixes
• Coordinate between engineering, customers, and partners to resolve technical issues 
• Project-manage new integration requests from scoping through launch
• Build and improve customer-facing guides, documentation, and support processes 
• Support sales prospects on technical evaluations and proof-of-concepts
