OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for tooling, spares and consumables, ensuring production requirements are met on time
• Source and evaluate supplier quotations, balancing cost, quality and delivery performance to achieve best value outcomes
• Track purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and minimise disruptions to production
• Coordinate the collection, transport and distribution of tooling and machine parts
• Receive, inspect and process incoming tooling, maintaining accurate inventory and purchasing records
• Monitor tooling usage, conduct stocktakes and support inventory control activities to prevent stock shortages and optimise stock levels

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, maintenance or production support environment
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word; BPCS experience is highly regarded
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and manage inventory

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
