The Role: Technical Support Coordinator
Join our Above Water Systems team and play a key role in supporting major Naval and Commercial projects. In this position, you’ll be at the centre of urgent maintenance activities—working closely with customers and technical experts to deliver fast, practical solutions that keep assets safe, operational, and mission-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing clear and confident guidance.
- Develop and coordinate urgent repair plans in line with service level agreements.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to diagnose issues and deliver practical solutions.
- Work closely with Supply Chain to prioritise and secure critical parts.
- Coordinate on-site repair activities, ensuring alignment with operational schedules.
- Monitor progress, manage costs, and ensure quality and compliance requirements are met.
Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Trade or engineering qualification with 5+ years’ relevant experience
- Experience in Combat Systems or Marine Engineering (highly regarded)
- Proficient in MS Office and maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and follow through
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving and coordination skills
