Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customer to collect requirement, support customer to define security solution and specification.
- Develop, validate and deploy new software components (e.g. advanced software security mechanisms and next generation IoT connectivity protocols) for embedded operating systems targeted for mobile and IoT devices.
- Security applet development or customization to support eSIM/eSE product & solution delivery
- Support field issues on delivered products and product qualification
- Participate in the development of next generation operating systems for future devices Support field issues on delivered product
- Work closely within the team and with multiple teams around the world in an agile environment to build products exceeding customer expectations
- Contribute to continuous product and development methodology improvement
- Occasional travel may be required to support product delivery
- Share professional knowledge and best practices with the team
Requirements:
- 3 years of practical experience in software development as developer/validator
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, or related fields
- Proficient in Embedded C for development and Java for application/applet development
- Knowledge and experience in embedded technologies/ecosystem, for example: microcontroller programming, low-level protocols like SPI, UART, I2C, and device driver programming
- Experience in testing and debugging embedded devices using dedicated emulators or simulators
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in daily engineering workflows
- Knowledge in smartcard, embedded software security or JavaCard is a plus
- Team player with good communication, problem solving and collaboration skills
