Imperva’s Infrastructure and Cloud team is looking for a highly technical Network Engineer II to drive innovation, scale, and operational excellence for the Imperva globally distributed CDN. As the Network Engineer, you are responsible for planning, configuration, management, and support of the hardware and software of the Global Thales/Imperva DDoS mitigation network. You will work to improve the overall availability, reliability, performance, security, and scale of the network for Thales/Imperva customers.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Support 60 PoP Global DDoS Anycast Network
Ownership mindset of network deliverables of scale, performance, and availability Focus on operational excellence, SLI/SLO Network Monitoring and Alerting Escalations, incident response, RCA, and postmortems Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation Collaborate product development teams and customer service teams to provide an exceptional customer experience Define strategies, roadmap, and architectures for evolving & scaling network technologies to meet business needs in a flexible and agile manner
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience within a cloud/web/CDN scale infrastructure
JNCIP or CCNP preferred
Experience with large scale global/service provider network environments
Expert knowledge in routing (BGP/ISIS/MPLS), switching, optical, & firewalls
