Role: Senior IVV Engineer

Join our dynamic Project Dashboard team as a Senior IVV Engineer and play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact solutions that empower teams worldwide with actionable data and insights.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior IVV Engineer to join our Engineering Project Dashboard team aiming to provide self-generated KPIs and metrics to monitor engineering activities of projects' engineering work packages. Customers of Engineering Project Dashboard digital services are spread all around the world, leading teams with different granularity, and looking for contextual information related to their projects.

Main responsibilities:

  • Understand and clarify, if needed, any requirements related to testing new features and/or bug fix

  • Create manual and automated tests for the Engineering Project Dashboard ecosystem

  • Update test cases/suites and associated tests data in order to test the new features and/or bug fix (manual and automated)

  • Run test cases/suites (manual and automated) during the testing phase of each release (enhancement releases, patches…)

  • Investigate when problems occur during the tests in order to precisely define what the problem is (a bug, a wrong installation on tests platforms, inconsistency among test data and/or test sheet…) and synchronize with RO & FRANCE team to share information and take the relevant actions and resume the activities

  • Monitor and reports on the progress of tests activities using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures

  • Explore existing system processes and provide recommendations for improvements

  • Meeting with key stakeholders to determine business system needs and requirements

  • Conducting and reporting on technical and business analyses

  • Assessing new software requirements and features for compatibility with current systems

  • Ensuring product quality throughout the development process

About you:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Autonomous in planning his/her QA tasks including time management skills

  • Know how to use reporting tools like: Jira, Confluence, Wiki, etc.

  • Knowledge of Web technologies (server/client architecture)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within a team environment and collaborate with other professionals

  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the process of software development

  • Critical thinking and analysis skills to determine security risks to data, hardware, and software

  • Mastery in analyzing business, technical, and functional needs and requirements

  • Strong attention to detail to identify, record, and prioritize issues as they arise

  • Solid report writing skills and command of written communication

  • Troubleshooting and creative thinking to present viable solutions as problems arise

  • Agile mindset & practices

  • English Fluent, French would be a plus

Have a basic understanding and knowledge of:

  • A scripting language (Python, Shell, etc.)

  • Command line configuration of applications running under Windows or Linux

  • GIT workflow

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure), GCP is highly desirable

  • Code review processes

Nice to have technical skills:

  • Working experience in continuous integration and automatic testing with tools such as Selenium, Jenkins etc.

  • Working experience in software development with shell scripts, databases

  • Working experience in performances testing (JMeter)

  • API testing using tools like Postman, SOAP UI etc.

  •  Have a basic understanding and knowledge of Polarion (ALM) for requirement and test management.
