The HR Systems Analyst position will be hired to a 12 month fixed term contract.
The HR Systems Analyst will provide technical support for all HR systems including triage of issues, system administration/configuration, changes as well as maintenance tasks and reporting within HR Systems and is responsible for supporting the design, development and maintenance of key Thales HR systems such as Workday, HR case management / ticketing, UKG and payroll, including integrations between systems. This role will work directly with the HR Services Manager and stakeholders from the wider HR Function and business, on a variety of projects such as systems upgrades, reorganisations and enhancements and works closely with Global Group HR Systems Teams and local ES & IT Teams.
KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a HR Systems Analyst, you are accountable for:
- Support the service delivery across system administration, metric reporting and analytics, and system enhancements.
- Support user engagement and ensure support material is fit for purpose
- Ensure service delivery against set expectations of any key programs of work
- Coordinate requirement gathering of new projects and provide analysis of impacts to current business processes.
- Perform regular data quality audits and monitor system integrations to ensure integrity and accuracy within Workday
- Creation of technical documentations and update with any system changes.
- Represent the HR Systems Team across domestic and international forums and key stakeholder groups.
- Manage 3rd party vendors to support system enhancement and system availability.
- Research and test system functionality to ensure best configuration of business processes
- Identify system solutions and automation for process improvements for optimal use of HR systems.
- Manage, prioritise and action global ticket items in line with local requirements
- Drive a continuous improvement approach that uses technology to deliver efficiency across the HR Function
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in IT, business administration or HR
- Understanding and knowledge of underlying HR, payroll and service delivery processes
- Reporting tools (Workday, Microsoft Report Builder, Cognos, Oracle Business Intelligence).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel and PowerBI.
- Good analytical as well as being highly detail oriented.
- Ability to anticipate downstream impacts to system changes and business processes / Process mapping / improvement (Visio desirable).
- Ability to root cause problems and inefficiencies with HR systems.
- Experience in the full lifecycle of systems delivery
- Implementation of systems using effective Project Management Methodology
- Experience in using HR systems (preferably Workday and Neocase) or other large database systems
- Experience working in a service delivery centre (HR, Finance, Customer support, call centre etc).
