About your future job

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced S&OP Process Coordinator to join our team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless alignment of our strategic and operational plans by ensuring that demand and supply of capacity is balanced in the mid to long term, supporting the organization’s overall goals of delivering on time, on cost and on quality.

In this job you will coordinate the S&OP workload/workforce activities for the Engineering Community of Thales Naval (more than 1300 employees @ multiple sites within the Netherlands, Romania and Portugal). You will manage the network of Engineering Managers and in coordination with the Demand Manager and the S&OP Leader.

• Act as business consultant/partner to advise senior management and drive cross functional (end-2-end) alignment and decision making regarding Workload and Workforce Planning
• Organize and consolidate the workload/workforce matching at the relevant levels of the organization including evaluation of scenarios, research of optimization and proposition of alternative scenarios if relevant.
• Facilitate the Supply Review Meeting for Engineering.
• Identify and solve gaps by determining (in cooperation with the Engineering MT) cap closing scenario’s and escalating those that need arbitration at an S&OP review.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve process, tooling, report out and decision making.

Why you'd be a good match:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven 10+ experience in S&OP, Project- and/or resource planning and/or process coordination in a complex high mix – low volume production or project (engineering) environment.
• Excellent consultancy skills to facilitate decisions in a complex organization
• Demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex, not perfect data
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
