Product Owner for Avionics Business
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Proxy Product Owner to join our team to deliver complete screening solutions for TACTIS Project.
You will be part of a cross-functional software team responsible for the end-to-end development life cycle, including architecture, design, development, integration and validation of the complete system. The team works in a multicultural environment in co-engineering with equipment and solution teams in France to deliver fast and secure solutions.
The Proxy Product Owner is responsible for the software engineering activities and the delivery of product components.
Main Responsibilities
Support the Software Engineering Manager to analyze system/product specifications and roadmap in order to provide software features breakdown for the development team.
Understand customer needs, adopt a UX approach to proactively manage users' expectations through effective communication, collaboration and coordination.
Translate user needs into clear and actionable user stories for the development team and provide technical feedback to the Product Owner (SwEM).
Prioritize the product backlog based on value, ensuring the delivery of essential features and managing dependencies with other teams.
Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure engagement and satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle, secure the budget needed to meet both corporate and engineering needs, and ensure the product vision always aligns with the business strategy.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and actively participate in Scrum events (demos, retrospectives and backlog refinement sessions).
Regularly communicate product status and release progress, while sharing team concerns.
Proactively identify potential risks and issues, implementing appropriate and effective solutions.
Required Competencies
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
Ability to understand and interpret product specifications and write software requirements.
Good understanding of the business approach and ability to provide a software architecture vision.
Experience with Software Integration and Verification activities.
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and Jira.
Good communication, summarizing and reporting skills (data-driven approach).
Strong analytical, problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Fluency in English.
Would Be a Plus

Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills at all levels.
UX knowledge and principles.
Avionics domain knowledge.
French language.
