PMO Analyst & Specialist (Open also to Protected Categories, Law 68/99)

Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.

Main tasks:

  • BID Portfolio Management: by scheduling, tracking the critical milestones (Gate 0, 1, 2 and 3, Handover, FAT, Shipment & SAT), maintaining consistency between BID and project with a special focus on deadlines and commitments while monitoring conflicts among BIDs in terms of resources, labor and material.
  • Be an efficient link with Ind, Eng, I&C and different internal stakeholders by means of VBID to support the BID Phase and the transition to Projects using Primavera Tool.
  • To arrange Bids and Project tools, processes and flows in order to address the specific needs and interfaces of the PMO which aims at supporting the delivery of Bids & Projects and Programmes.
  • To act as a primary point of advice, support and guidance within the PMO on the use of the PMO tools processes and systems for BIDs while ensuring compliance and consistency of use.
  • To support the use, process and methodology of Primavera in the frame of the whole B&P domain.

Detailed tasks description and responsibilities

  • To maintain end to end data in management information systems in Primavera, tracking databases and reporting Bids and Project tools to deliver timely and accurate reports in line with the baseline reporting routine.
  • To ensure accurate information, templates and good practices are shared between relevant interfaces and to post-process the collected data in order to highlight specific KPIs for BIDs
  • To support analysis on critical items and OCM extractions to evaluate delivery issues, obsolescence and priorities on projects.
  • NAS workload coordination together with other colleagues inside PMO, using the necessary tools in Primavera to improve visibility towards business line management in the frame of the Forecast and BID executions.
  • Conducting lessons learned workshops and ensuring the transfer of knowledge for B&P. In addition, maintaining the folder structure and repository.
  • Project risk management in order to identify risks/issues, severity, probability, impact, mitigation actions, owner of the actions and distribute data to senior management for aggregation.
  • To support with on boarding and training sessions the new starters, as far as PMO tools and systems are concerned.

Education & Experience:

  • Economics degree or equivalent scientific qualification
  • Microsoft Office Specialist
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in the field of PMO or data processing/analysis
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
  • Experience in ERP Software Implementation.
  • Knowledge of OCM is a plus.
  • Experience in MS Project software or similar GANTT tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Primavera would be a plus.
  • Confident in providing analysis reporting, post-processing data and preparing dashboards
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with a wide variety of people, especially under pressure and strict deadlines.
  • Able to prioritize simultaneous demands and to take delivery challenges
  • Knowledge of English is mandatory and French is recommended. Italian is a plus.
