🌍 THE PROJECT

A trusted, sovereign Google Cloud region - operated end-to-end from within Europe by the joint venture between Thales and Google Cloud.

Same Google Cloud power you know (GKE, compute, data, Vertex AI).
European jurisdiction. European operators. Thales-grade cybersecurity.

In the last 6 months alone, the platform:
✅ Achieved a world-first regulatory qualification - IaaS + CaaS + PaaS in a single decision
✅ Named 2026 Google Cloud Partner of the Year - Sovereign Cloud
✅ Runs 3 data centres, 10,000+ devices, NVIDIA H100 GPU clusters in production
✅ Serves European enterprises in energy, banking, healthcare, defense

Your job: make all of that observable.

🛠 WHAT YOU'LL OWN

▸ Design, deploy and operate the LGTM stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Mimir)
▸ Define monitoring, logging and alerting strategies across GKE
▸ Operate log and metric pipelines at scale
▸ Collaborate directly with Google Cloud engineers

🎯 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-have:
▸ 5+ years in Observability, SRE or DevOps
▸ Strong hands-on with Prometheus (PromQL), Grafana, Loki (LogQL)
▸ Proven track record designing alerting and monitoring strategies
▸ Solid Kubernetes (GKE preferred)
▸ Log and metric pipelines at scale
▸ Strong Linux fundamentals, comfortable in English

Nice to have:
▸ Mimir, Tempo / OpenTelemetry
▸ Terraform, Helm, GitOps
▸ SRE practice (SLI/SLO, error budgets)
