Operations Efficiency Coordinator

Location: Fareham (onsite)

Are you ready to take ownership of operational improvement in a business investing in digital transformation and emerging technologies? Do you thrive in a collaborative, close-knit team where your ideas are heard and your impact is visible? If so, this could be your next step.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Operations Efficiency Coordinator to join our growing team in Fareham. This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape how our operations evolve — combining data, Industry 4.0 technologies, and continuous improvement techniques to drive measurable performance gains.

You’ll work within a diverse and supportive team environment where collaboration is key, ideas are welcomed, and innovation is encouraged. From day one, you’ll have the autonomy to lead initiatives, introduce smarter ways of working, and contribute directly to our digital transformation journey.

This role offers genuine scope for progression — whether deepening your expertise in operational excellence, moving into leadership, or broadening your experience across a global organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partnering with shop floor teams to identify, design and deliver improvement initiatives

  • Supporting the Operations Resilience & Efficiency Manager with updates, coordination, and documentation

  • Applying Industry 4.0 tools (automation, data visualisation and digital workflows) to improve productivity and reduce waste

  • Analysing operational data to uncover trends, risks and efficiency opportunities

  • Supporting and leading continuous improvement projects, including cost-benefit and risk analysis

  • Standardising processes and embedding new digital ways of working

  • Creating and delivering engaging training to support adoption of new technologies and processes

  • Tracking KPIs and reporting on performance, cost savings and operational impact

  • Collaborating with corporate and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with wider business goals

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement.

Essential experience and skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing/production-led environments

  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma or similar)

  • Practical understanding of Industry 4.0 tools such as automation systems, technologies, or data visualisation platforms

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into practical solutions

  • Confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels, including shop floor teams

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver structured project outcomes

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment

We’re particularly interested in individuals who are naturally curious, proactive, and motivated to explore new technologies to improve performance.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a collaborative and diverse team where your contribution is visible

  • Work with emerging technologies and play a key role in digital transformation

  • Enjoy real ownership and autonomy in a role you can shape

  • Access structured development, mentoring and long-term career progression opportunities

  • Join a global organisation committed to internal mobility and growth

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary

  • Pension matched up to 7%

  • Life Assurance (2x salary minimum, up to 8x if part of pension scheme)

  • Income Protection (50% salary for up to 5 years)

  • 201 hours annual leave plus bank holidays and 1 company day

  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme

  • Flexible benefits including dental, cycle to work and holiday buy/sell & much more.

If you’re looking for a role where you can work with new technologies, influence how operations evolve, and build a long-term career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you.
