OME Key Account Technology Partner 

Glasgow - Hybrid module


Purpose

To increase Thales technical engagement with Land Customers, in the Export and UK Market, in order establish closer collaboration and result in Thales more effectively meeting the European and UK customer needs to prepare for conflict by the end of this decade. 


Key Responsibilities

Technical Customer Engagement


Technical Engagement and Strategy Support for OME Land Sales

  • Collaborate with OME Land Sales to integrate technical discussions early in customer engagements.
  • Understand customer technical needs for the next 5-10 years with Land Technical Authority and PLAs.
  • Focus on primes and integrators to build and mature opportunities with Product Strategy and Technical teams.
  • Share Thales OME technical roadmaps, identify gaps, and promote standard products to minimize customisation.
  • Explore alternative solutions to deliver 90% of capability with little or no new development.
  • Identify cost-effective ways to meet current and future requirements.
  • Influence technology and product roadmaps with customer feedback.
  • Seek funding to support R&D initiatives.
  • Promote collaboration across domains and international teams to meet land customer needs.
  • Work with leadership to expand SME and partner networks, supporting portfolio growth and market leadership.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Engage early with OME Land Sales and customers to address technical needs over 5–10 years.
  • Focus on primes/integrators to develop opportunities with Product Strategy teams.
  • Share roadmaps, identify gaps, and promote standard products to limit customisation.
  • Seek cost-effective solutions delivering 90%+ capability with minimal development.
  • Influence product roadmaps and secure R&D funding.
  • Promote cross-domain and international collaboration.
  • Expand SME and partner networks to support growth and market leadership.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Due to the nature of the work that we do at Thales, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This role requires Security Clearance (SC). It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment.


To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
