Job Description

Location: Gorgonzola, Italy

Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.

JOB OBJECTIVE

Reporting to the Production Manager and working as part of a production team, the individual is responsible for testing and repairing electronic equipment and boards that are part of our aircraft navigation equipment
product portfolio.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform functional tests of electronic equipment and boards, including digital and RF circuits;
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies, identifying and correcting faults;
  • Interpret and apply wiring diagrams, production documentation, material specifications, and production cycle data in daily activities;
  • Perform internal and customer-facing system acceptance tests to demonstrate system compliance with specifications, following standard product procedures.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma in electronics or higher (required);
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years in the Electronics Industry in integration and testing;
  • experience with RF systems is preferred;
  • Familiarity with soldering techniques (IPC certification is a plus);
  • Good knowledge of MS Office;
  • Soft Skills: o Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level), enabling effective communication in an international environment;
  • frequency meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
