Industrial Process Engineer – Supply Chain

What you’ll be doing
You’ll work closely with our suppliers and internal teams to drive excellence in mechanical manufacturing and product delivery:
- Build trusted partnerships with suppliers to deliver high-quality, reliable components
- Collaborate to optimise manufacturing processes and reduce costs
- Provide technical input during supplier selection, audits, and readiness reviews
- Lead supplier audits, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement
- Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and validate new production processes
- Analyse process data to improve quality, yield, and performance
- Drive APQP and PPAP activities to ensure smooth new product introduction
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined
- Support supplier manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement initiatives
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset:
- Experience in mechanical manufacturing processes (machining, casting, forging, etc.)
- Background working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, and PPAP
- Strong communication skills and a relationship-focused approach
- A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Ability to travel to supplier sites
Your background
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Product Design or similar, or equivalent industry experience
