​Working from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land or Rydalmere, on Darug land, your role purpose will be -

• Lead Thales Australia Transformation by identifying, delivering, and scaling strategic initiatives through a portfolio approach that strengthens across Business Domain collaboration and directly supports the enterprise competitiveness plan. 

• Reshape support functions and roles across Business Lines by reviewing operating models and sizing to improve profitability, driving optimisation through digitalisation and more effective ways of working. 

• Enable transformation governance by partnering with key stakeholders to establish clear, effective governance—ensuring decisions, accountability, and outcomes are aligned to strategic priorities. 

• Deliver change at scale across a complex multi-customer stakeholder community, navigating diverse cultural contexts by building trust, reducing resistance to change, and engaging cross-functional, diverse teams to achieve measurable adoption and impact.

On day one, you will bring:

• Must have a track record of delivering complex Transformation programs in either industrial, technology or consultancy environments

• Experience coordinating large Digital Transformation initiatives and AI implementation

• Excellent stakeholder management & engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes in complex environments

• Deep understanding of Change Management and stakeholder management

• Knowledge of Strategic Business Plan processes

• Financial/budget management experience, including business case development and benefits tracking 

• Relevant tertiary qualification, ideally underpinned by transformation/change-management training

A NV 1 Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
