Hardware Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Location: Bern #LI-HYBRID

Your Mission
Develop hardware from concept (schematics/layout) to series production readiness.
Create and maintain technical documentation across the full product lifecycle.
Assemble, commission, and test prototypes and pilot series, including measurements and reports.
Define and implement test and validation specifications for PCBs.
Support certifications, testing, and supplier acceptance processes.
Maintain production data in SAP (ERP).
Promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
What We Are Looking For
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience in hardware development, and knowledge of software development.
Knowledge of 16/32-bit processors and interfaces (SPI, I²C, USB, UART).
Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar PCB design tools.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Good communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent in English (written and spoken), German and French are considered an asset.
