Our Avionics team designs and builds products to optimise pilot capabilities – from helmets that use head movements to control weaponry, to aviation-based navigation systems. We’re a trusted partner for defence and government clients, building bespoke training and simulation solutions across a range of fields, such as maritime, aviation & land operations. 

Our Graduate Program focuses on developing early career talent to help us deliver tomorrows high-tech solutions. Over an 18-month development program you will engage in on-the-job training, mentoring, a graduate project and structured learning modules.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Execute a variety of activities across systems and software engineering.

• Participate in the development of product specifications and design documentation.

• Understanding and analysing customer requirements

• Actively pursue professional development to maintain and grow your capability as an Engineer.

• Producing engineering reports, specification and design documents

• Effectively planning and executing activities ensuring projects keep to time

ABOUT YOU

• Recently graduated with a Degree in Software, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline (graduated by end of 2026).

• A ‘can do’ approach with a focus on achieving project milestones and deadlines.

• You easily build relationships and have strong communications skills both written and verbal

• Self-motivated, proactive, detail orientated and organised.

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY

A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain baseline clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
