Financial Analyst Intern

Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Reporting
•    Consolidate and analyze financial data using Excel to support monthly closing, forecasting and budgeting processes.
•    Prepare presentations in PowerPoint (PPT) to effectively communicate financial results and analysis.
Project Accounting
•    Monitor project accounting entries in Oracle to ensure accuracy and compliance.
•    Prepare project accounting reports utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
•    Track balance sheet movements associated with ongoing projects.
Sales Incentives
•    Assist with calculating revenue achievement for the sales team.
•    Support incentive calculations for sales personnel.
Other Responsibilities
•    Provide support in responding to audit queries from various entities within APAC region.
•    Develop reports using PowerBI and PowerQuery, leveraging internal training materials.
•    Support the adoption of AI technologies utilizing internal training materials.

In addition to the outlined missions and responsibilities, collaboration with cross-functional teams (customer service, sales, accounting, business controlling etc.) is essential to enhance financial workflows, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute towards the digital transformation initiatives within the organization. A keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving business requirements are vital, as is a commitment to ongoing professional development. This role further involves supporting the integration of new tools and methodologies, ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team. 
 

Required Education/Certificate:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Working Experience:

It is preferable to have internship experience in finance.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with PowerQuery or PowerBI is considered an asset.

Personnel Skills:

The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal abilities, including effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability, to work seamlessly with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
