Technical Support Engineer

This position is an on-site model in our São Bernardo do Campo unit.

Position Summary 

As a Technical Support Engineer within the Electronic Repairs department of the FCS competence center, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing cutting-edge technology. You will encounter a diverse range of technologies including RF, electronics and wiring, as well as analog and digital boards. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of radar sub-assemblies through meticulous repair services focusing on high-frequency and digital components.

Key Areas of Responsibility 

• Providing technical support services for the repair of electronic boards, COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) and RF products and components;
• Overseeing supplier qualification and ensuring consistent follow-up services;
• Developing and refining methodologies for procedural updates;
• Managing technical issues related to electronic boards, coordinating with systems engineering;
• Facilitating the continuous improvement transformation plan, embracing a Lean mindset;
• Reporting and addressing anomalies and technical issues with prompt resolution;
• Actively participating in daily SIM-type cell meetings;
• Engaging in problem-solving initiatives and quality clinics.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field;
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electronic boards and RF components;
• Strong understanding of COTS products and their integration into larger systems;
• Ability to develop methodologies for procedural updates and improvements;
• Skilled in engaging in problem-solving initiatives and quality clinics;
• Proficiency in using diagnostic and analyzing tools specific to electronics and RF technologies;
• Intermediate English.
