The Group has also established an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility in Gurugram to provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to Indian airlines and support the growth of the local aviation industry.Within the matrix organization of the Engineering Competence Center, the Software Engineer is in charge of embedded SW development and testing, in order to deliver software that meets system requirements with adequate quality and maturity, within schedule and budget.
Skills:
- Proficient in C
- Experience in leading the design, development and deployment software solutions.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new feature
- Experience in improving quality through thoughtful code review, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring and proactive changes.
- Solid know-how of Linux operating system
- Extended know-how with regards to UDP, SNMP, NTP and SSH networking protocols
- Experience with network debug and testing tools
- Experience gcc compiler and gdb debugger
- High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for capturing equipment system level need and allocate the system need to software and hardware.
- Responsible for capturing software requirements, design, implementation and testing of applicative and platform software
- Work in an agile team in all the phases of software development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure the system need is met
- Focus on timely delivery with quality and cost
