You graduated with a Master of Engineering and you have significant experience in Digital Electronics
You think of yourself as a true team-player, though you also demonstrate a high level of autonomy
You are very rigorous and analytical, examining logically the steps taken and the outcome to make corrections and produce better results
You have a proactive “can-do” mentality and prove to be decision oriented
You want to delight the customer with effective and compliant solutions
COMPETENCIES:

You have a strong knowledge of digital electronics norms, laws and standards
You have experience in digital PCB design
You have great problem-solving and decision-making skills, which makes you able to approach complex issues with curiosity and determination
You are able to use your organisational skills to plan, prioritise workloads, achieve a balanced budget and meet the deadlines, with a clear vision of risks and opportunities
You want to update your expertise continuously and design innovative solutions to fit your customers’ needs
You are able to work in a team environment

LIFE AS A THALES DIGITAL ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING ROLE

As a Digital Electronics Engineering Role within Thales, you will:

Design and maintain high quality digital solutions in electronic engineering in accordance with customers' needs and processes to meet project operational requirements
Deliver solutions compliant to customer, business and derived requirements
Participate in the definition of the architecture and the allocation of functions
Support the preparation of technical statements of work for equipment suppliers and management of equipment subcontractors
Support the preparation of hardware plans, development of test means and test schedules and their execution
Create testing procedures and maintenance for digital electronics equipment and components
Work collaboratively with production and procurement to produce cost effective, easy to manufacture digital solutions
Ensure digital electronics systems, instruments and equipment meet applicable regulations and safety standards
Provide support to the preparation of detailed estimates and bids
Monitor compliance of designs against target costs, quality and time
