Bid System Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will lead systems engineering contributions for complex, strategic “must-win” competitive pursuits, ensuring technically compliant, compelling, and integrated proposal submissions.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Capture Managers, Business Development, Systems
Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Program Management, Facilities, and
other stakeholders for technical submissions.
• Apply and tailor Proposal Process expertise, guiding cross-functional team
members on proposal procedures, compliance, and best practices.
• Create key proposal artifacts, including proposal outlines, compliance
matrices, storyboard plans, and delivery strategies, with a focus on systems
engineering content.
• Manage the lifecycle of technical content within, ensuring reusable system
engineering artifacts are accurate and up-to-date.
• Track and report on the status of technical content for accuracy,
consistency, compliance, and alignment with schedule.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience supporting or leading proposals as a Systems Engineer,
contributing to large, complex proposal/capture efforts by providing
technical strategy, system architecture input, and compliant technical
content.
• Strong familiarity with competitive proposal processes, including tailoring
technical content to align with capture strategies and evaluation criteria.
• Experience interfacing with executive leadership to provide technical
guidance, status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations on
system design, integration, and proposal strategy.
Desired Skills – Systems Engineering Proposal Lead
• Program management experience with the ability to oversee technical
proposal efforts from planning through submission.
• Ability to effectively communicate within the company to extract essential
information on key systems ensuring a smooth Bid to Engineering transfer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated
ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling technical content.
• Experience developing proposal content across technical, management,
past performance, and resume sections.
