The Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) business, part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems, provides leading-edge Air Traffic Management (ATM), Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), Security, and Digital Aviation solutions for the Commercial and Defence sectors.
The AMS manages 11% of the world's airspace and, with revenues of over 500 million Euros worldwide, is the global market leader in airspace management solutions. In Singapore, the business focuses on the delivery and support of ATM solutions in the Asia Pacific region.
Role Description
The role of ATM Operational Specialist is a key role for the ATM project. As part of the multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will help define and deliver a fit-for-purpose data solution to the end user.
The role is responsible for:
Understanding all aspects of the TopSky One product (ATM, BYPASS, and SIM)
Identifying and evaluating existing processes in place and improving co-engineering (tools, ways of working, etc.)
Working with the team to improve processes and methods to handle all design and development activities
Participating in solution design and working closely with Product Owners and System Engineers
Attending Sprint and Product Increment demos to provide feedback on deliveries
Populating the dataset and being fully part of the Operational Dataset creation for Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities
Filling and providing artefacts for various team needs in accordance with project milestones (demonstration, test activities, site activities, etc.)
Participating in dataset preparation for various stakeholders (internal and customer)
Working closely with Software Integration to automate dataset activities as much as possible through integration pipelines (generation, automatic tests, etc.)
Working closely with System Integration and Verification teams to identify various needs and the time frame required to resolve them
Actively upskilling and mentoring engineering teams to better appreciate the operational context
Supporting design reviews and workshops by providing operational expertise
Working closely with Support teams to manage contract transition activities with customers
Responsibilities

Support TopSky One development
Undertake data preparation tasks for demonstrations
Prepare for and attend demonstrations
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Qualifications
Instructor grade or Air Traffic Control qualifications
Essential Experience
Experience in Air Traffic Control management
Experience in dataset preparation for an ATM system
Knowledge of the Australian ATM Domain and Air Traffic Management standards (e.g., ICAO, Eurocontrol, AID)
High level of understanding of dataset/adaptation data goals and impacts
Capability to work with various stakeholders having different objectives
Capability to work in a multi-cultural environment and with a variety of international customers
Aptitude to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary integrated team environment
A positive attitude, discovery mindset, problem-solving culture, and motivational skills
Desirable
Simulator experience or instructor experience
5+ years of experience in similar positions delivering complex software-centric real-time systems
Experience with engineering tools such as DOORS, JIRA, etc.
Experience with ILS processes
Experience with scripting languages (shell, bash, python, macro, etc.)
