Job Description
Logistics Analyst Import Export Transport I
This position is hybrid model in our São Bernardo do Campo unit.
Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for executing and managing shipment requests, encompassing both domestic and international export operations. You will ensure that all processes align with Brazilian legislation and maintain compliance and security according to AEO certification criteria and international regulations. This position is critical for the security of the logistics chain and the company's adherence to tax and customs obligations.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Guide activities related to import and export processes;
- Carry out all necessary checks, handle the administrative tasks related to shipments, and generate accompanying documents (invoicing and release documents for new equipment delivered under spare parts sales) for import (repair) & export activities (spare & repair);
- Manage all packaging and packing operations for materials being shipped;
- Track orders from processing to final delivery confirmation from the customer;
- Place transport orders with various carriers, and handle tracking and resolution of any disputes;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant professional and product-related regulations (ESD, Safety, Quality, Lean, etc.);
- Contribute to improving shipping flows by addressing issues through Kaizen, Quality Clinics, Suggestions, etc;
- Analyze, instruct, and control processes related to special regimes, reductions, exemptions, and tax suspensions, as well as NCM classifications;
- Stay updated on changes in national and international legislation to ensure correct customs clearance, working with customs brokers and compliant authorities;
- Control and analyze logistics and tax costs involved in operations and report to commercial, project, and BID areas when requested;
- Execute audits on commercial partners within the AEO Program.
Minimum Qualifications
- A completed Bachelor's degree in Administration with an emphasis on Foreign Trade and Logistics or similar;
- Intermediate proficiency in English and Spanish;
- Knowledge of International Transport and Customs regulations;
- Knowledge in office tools and ERP systems.
