Ai Developer

Thales Business Support Services (TBSS) acts as a Shared Service Center for Thales Group by serving a number of countries for various key tasks associated to finance and accounting processes.

Your Mission

As an AI Developer / Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, build and maintain AI-driven automation solutions, with a strong focus on image processing, document understanding and intelligent data extraction.
Working fully in on-premise and restricted environments, you will deliver secure, robust and production-ready AI systems that support TBSS operational efficiency and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy OCR and document understanding solutions using Python, operating entirely on internal infrastructure

• Build and maintain AI models for image processing and intelligent data extraction, ensuring high accuracy and reliability

• Integrate AI solutions with RPA and ServiceNow ecosystems to support end-to-end automation

• Ensure AI systems are secure, scalable, maintainable and compliant with internal standards

• Continuously improve model performance through applied R&D, testing and optimization

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience in Python and AI/ML development, particularly in OCR, image processing or document understanding

• Solid knowledge of machine learning concepts and hands-on experience deploying models in production environments

• Experience working in on-premise or restricted environments, with a strong focus on security and robustness

• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of solutions, and thrive in a small, agile team

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset towards continuous improvement

• Good level of English and feel comfortable communicating in an international environment
