Founding Engineer (ML + Full-Stack)

We’re building the enterprise AI governance 🤖👩‍💻 — protecting privacy and monitoring the explosion of AI tools flooding into companies. Already live with law firms ⚖️ and piloting with Big 4 consulting firms and large enterprises, we’re on a mission to make AI adoption safe, smart, and unstoppable.

What you’ll actually be doing (aka the fun stuff):

• 🧪 Dream up and run application-level benchmarks: scenario testing, dataset building, LLM-as-a-judge evaluations
• 🔌 Wrangle the wild world of integrations, plugging into dozens of third-party AI tools + enterprise APIs
• 🎨 Build slick dashboards + APIs that turn compliance spaghetti into crystal-clear visuals
• 🌱 Shape the engineering culture from scratch (yes, your commits set the tone for future hires)

Interview Process

Our interview process is fast and founder-led (usually 1–2 weeks):

1. Intro Call (30 min) – Get to know each other and talk about Tecto’s vision.

2. Technical Session (60–90 min) – Work through a real-world ML/full-stack problem together (no LeetCode lol).

3. Founder Chat (45 min) – Discuss culture, ownership, and what it’s like to be on the ground floor.

4. Wrap-Up – Final conversation with both founders, Q&A, and offer discussion.
