The Systems Engineering Integrated Systems (SE Integrated Systems) department is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with the technical expertise and leadership skills to drive the design and development of world-class Land and Air Defense Systems. SE Integrated Systems leads all aspects of systems engineering to develop complex systems in support of the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area from our Tewksbury, MA location.
The department supports Raytheon by cultivating a world-class team of systems thinkers who collaborate to architect technical solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges. Key technical domains include Radar Systems and Sensor Netting, Effector Systems, Battle Management, Command and Control, Communications, Network Design, Battlespace Integration, and Interoperability for both domestic and international customers.
What You Will Do
Concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flow-down
Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design
Algorithm optimization, research and development; trade studies to bring new, advanced features to fielded system
Functional analysis of real world and test data
Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System
Collaborate with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in requirements development, decomposition, or CONOPS development/design.
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience of radar systems (for example - PATRIOT, LTAMDS, AN/TPY-2 and others)
Experience with both broad, large-scale data analysis and focused root-cause analysis
Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
Experience with design of system level architecture
Experience with signal processing techniques, system control
Experience of Electronic Warfare/Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection Techniques
Experience interfacing with external customers
Experience across the product development life cycle
Familiarity with MATLAB, DOORS, and MS Office
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and lead technical efforts spanning multiple stakeholders and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Experience using MATLAB for model development.
Analytic, technical and problem-solving skills

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
