The Senior Manager, Quality Compliance and Document Control position is responsible for owning and supporting Power & Controls documented information processes for Windsor Locks and the Electric Power Systems team. You will coordinate and control the approval, release, revision, storage, and communication of Quality Management System documentation, ensuring compliance with established requirements and review cycles. Serving as the Power & Controls focal point for Collins document governance, the role manages document change activities, supports audit readiness, and leads efforts to standardize and improve documentation and quality processes across the business unit.

What You Will Do

  • Own Power & Controls and support Windsor Locks and EPS documented information processes
  • Coordinate and track approval, release, storage, revision, and notification of Quality Management System documentation, including procedures, work instructions, manuals, reports, forms, bulletins, and methods
  • Ensure compliance with required 3-year document maintenance and review cycles, including coordination for new, revised, and cancelled documents outside of scheduled reviews
  • Maintain Power & Controls documentation and ensure business unit compliance with established requirements
  • Serve as the Power & Controls focal point at Collins Document Advisory Boards
  • Manage document ballots and communicate upcoming and released Collins document revisions to Power & Controls stakeholders
  • Evaluate existing QMS documentation to identify redundancy, inefficiency, and misalignment with core quality processes
  • Lead initiatives to consolidate, harmonize, and standardize procedures, work instructions, templates, and forms across the SBU
  • Define and maintain a harmonized documentation structure and control framework to ensure consistency across Power & Controls
  • Coordinate document change control activities, including stakeholder engagement, approval workflows, and version control
  • Develop and deliver communication plans, training materials, and guidance to support adoption of standardized processes and new or revised Collins requirements
  • Support Operations Center Managers, Supervisors, and Operations support functions (Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, etc.) in preparation for 2nd and 3rd party audits
  • Follow up with CAPA and action owners to ensure corrective actions are completed on time and effectively address root cause
  • Drive continuous improvement through strong application of root cause and corrective action (RCCA) methodologies

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Quality Compliance experience
  • AS9100 Auditor certification (AATT preferred)
  • Demonstrated strength in RCCA methodologies
  • Knowledge of Collins Aerospace policies, instructions, and guidelines
  • Experience leading enterprise-level document harmonization and compliance initiatives
  • Support and provide guidance for Leadership, Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineers, and Quality Engineers root cause analysis methodologies to eliminate repeats in the manufacturing processes

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
