Job Summary:
Raytheon (RTX) is offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Principal Contracts Specialist to join our dynamic team at Raytheon Saudi Arabia (RSA) Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role operates within a globally focused, matrix-driven environment and is integral to our mission of fostering strategic partnerships and delivering impactful solutions.
Reporting directly to the RSA Contracts Associate Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Contracts function for RSA’s Localization portfolio. This exciting position involves contributing to a range of current and future projects that align with and advance the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives.
In this role, the individual will cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and key external partners, including KSA Ministries and other quasi-governmental entities. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in International Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting and demonstrate a deep understanding of Middle Eastern cultural and business practices.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Co-leading various contractual activities associated with RSA’s localization portfolio. This includes correspondence management, supporting credit claim requests, execution support, and customer interfacing activities.
- Providing contracts support in both the concept development and execution stages of localization projects.
- Recognize business and contractual issues in project performance, implement solutions, carry to completion, while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision.
- Support project management and execution reviews.
- Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies.
- Take ownership of complex project/contract issues and use knowledge of situational dynamics to establish personal engagement strategies to resolve them.
- Ensure successful governance/compliance with RTX Company Policies and Export/Import obligations and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree required. A Graduate or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Law, or another related field or an LL.M or JD in Law is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 3 additional years of experience.
- Experience in administering contracts (e.g. proposal preparation, contract negotiation, change management).
Qualifications We Value:
- Demonstrated record of responsiveness with excellent time management, organization skills, and multi-tasking across multiple projects/tasks.
- Ability to take initiative and work proactively.
- Effective communicator both orally and in writing; strong analytical skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in GCC countries.
- International negotiations experience.
- Experience in a Customer-facing role.
- Computer proficiency, experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and shared data bases.
- Understanding and use of Import and Export controls, compliance, and licensing.
