The Integrated Solutions Modeling & Architecture (ISMA) Directorate performs Operations Analysis and Modeling and Simulation (OA/M&S) to support business capture, drive system design, and support customer CONOPS and methods of employment. ISMA provides engineers who serve as Cross Product Team (CPT) Leads to support the Raytheon Strategic Business Units (SBU), and Requirements and Capabilities (R&C) function through the Capabilities Analysis and Assessment (CA&A) team.
The CA&A organization is a customer-focused group with a hybrid engineering/business development focus, and with a lead role for Operations Analysis, Modeling and Simulation (OA/M&S) for new business development and for building/strengthening customer relationships. CA&A works closely with Engineering and is responsible for developing the system- and system-of-systems OA/M&S stories across Raytheon Strategic Business Units, products, technologies, and concepts that lead to new Raytheon bookings.
This requisition is for the Defense Capabilities Analysis & Assessment, Air & Space Defense Systems Operations Analysis Cross-Product Team Lead. You will serve as the primary interface between the respective R&C teams, the Strategic Business Unit Technical Directors, CA&A, and ISMA to identify, prioritize, program, and execute OA/M&S in support of the business’ highest priority pursuits. You may perform the OA/M&S yourself, but frequently you will collaborate with a team of ISMA/CA&A analysts and R&C/Strategic Business Unit stakeholders aligned to the effort. You will report to your respective CA&A Director for day-to-day tasking, status reporting, content quality control, on-time completion, and identification of project scope, funding, and personnel requirements. The CPT Lead will also provide content for the R&C team to use in customer engagements and will be prepared to personally conduct senior level presentations to customer organizations and Raytheon senior leaders across the business.
This is an onsite role locate either in Woburn or Tewksbury, MA, Arlington, VA, Tucson, AZ or McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do
You will serve as an Operations Analysis and Modeling & Simulation expert for Air & Space Defense Systems and air forces related pursuits.
You will coordinate across the business to provide necessary OA/M&S, including the threat and competitive systems; understand the strengths and weaknesses that these systems will deliver for warfighters; create analytical products that will tell the relevant story to the customer.
You will lead the development of OA/M&S products in support of customer relationships and new business development, including coordination of OA/M&S products requiring high visibility outputs on a short timeline.
You will plan and manage multiple OA/M&S projects simultaneously while concurrently preparing for future projects and soliciting new tasks.
You will interact regularly with SBU Technical Directors and R&C/BD Leadership to build consensus, establish priorities, vet products, and ensure that CA&A analysis is aligned with priorities, plans, and needs.
You will participate with matrixed teams of analysts performing OA/M&S and be responsible for cost, schedule, quality control, and delivery of the OA/M&S products.
You will ensure CONOPS are defined throughout the capture process and participate in and provide analysis as needed for the Technical Baseline Maturity Assessment (TBMA) process.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with air domain related campaign or mission analysis tools in support of high priority business pursuits or at a customer organization.
Experience with emerging threats, US and international military capabilities, and operational modes of employment and CONOPS; with experience briefing and building consensus with senior leadership.
Must be available to travel domestically on a periodic basis (estimated 10% travel);
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced Degree in STEM and/or specialized degree (Ops Research, Military Science/Military Studies, Intelligence Studies);
Experience with complex military systems, including experience in Operations Analysis of military systems;
Technical working knowledge of Raytheon products and technologies, including sensors, effectors, and command and control systems;
Experience working both inside Raytheon and in the external Customer community;
Active Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
