Rebolt is building the platform that empowers companies to create internal applications in minutes by speaking with AI.

Our mission is to enable technical and non technical teams to replace brittle spreadsheets and one-size-fits-all SaaS with their own internal tools.

As a Founding AI Engineer, you’ll work across research and engineering to design, evaluate, and optimize AI systems systems that push the limits of what’s possible.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, understands both the math and the machine, and wants to build core technology, not just use it. You’ll join an early team where your ideas will directly shape the product and architecture.

In this role you will...

• Ship production-ready multi-agent systems and build tools for debugging, deploying, and operating scalable AI workflows.
• Lead and establish research culture by staying current with AI research and prototyping ideas that push our product forward
• Implement your findings to quickly translate research insights into production systems.
• Work closely with customers to iterate and optimize our product.

You will be a perfect fit if you...

• Have 2+ years of SWE/AI/ML engineering experience with deep understanding of LLM internals, agent architectures, and evaluation frameworks.
• Proven rapid-prototyping skills. You know how quickly turn research insights into a functioning prototype and then iterate over it iterate over it to turn it into a production-ready system.
• Hands-on full-stack development experience using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Strong bias toward action, learning by doing and iterating effectively through complexity.
• Track record of impact via publications, open-source contributions, or significant real-world projects.
• Ability to distill research insights, identify underlying problems, and design robust solutions.
• Comfort thriving in ambiguity, shaping core technology and architecture in a fast-paced startup environment.
