GTM Partnerships Enablement Lead
Job Description
About the Team
OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits all of humanity.
Our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization helps customers understand, deploy, and scale AI across their businesses. Within GTM, the Partnerships team builds and manages a global ecosystem of strategic partners—including systems integrators, technology partners, and distributors—to accelerate customer success, enable responsible AI adoption, and extend the reach of OpenAI’s platform.
We work cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Marketing, Solutions, and RevOps to deliver cohesive, high-impact customer outcomes.
About the Role
We’re looking for a GTM Partnerships Enablement Leader to define and scale how OpenAI enables its global partner ecosystem.
This role is responsible for translating product and GTM strategy into clear, repeatable programs that empower partners to sell, deliver, and support OpenAI solutions effectively. You will build and lead the partner enablement function, including strategy, programs, content, and systems that drive partner productivity and consistent execution across regions and partner types.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that combines 0→1 building with scaling global programs. You’ll work closely with Partnerships leadership and teams across Sales, Product, Product Marketing, Solutions, and RevOps to ensure partner-facing initiatives land clearly and drive measurable impact.
In This Role, You Will
Define and lead OpenAI’s global partner enablement strategy
Build and scale the partner enablement function, including team, operating model, and systems
Design and operationalize repeatable programs across onboarding, activation, product launches, and GTM motions
Drive global rollout of enablement initiatives, ensuring adaptability across regions and partner segments
Develop partner readiness programs, including training, certifications, and learning pathways across sales, technical, and delivery roles
Create high-quality enablement content such as playbooks, solution guides, and messaging frameworks
Enable partners to identify, qualify, and close AI opportunities aligned with OpenAI’s GTM priorities
Partner cross-functionally to align priorities, messaging, and execution across all partner-facing initiatives
Establish metrics and dashboards to track partner activation, pipeline contribution, and program effectiveness
Build feedback loops to capture partner insights and continuously improve enablement and GTM strategy
You Might Thrive in This Role If You
Turn complex product and GTM strategy into clear, scalable execution
Have experience building and scaling partner or GTM enablement programs in high-growth environments
Are an effective operator who can lead cross-functional initiatives across complex organizations
Bring strong executive presence and can influence senior stakeholders across business and technical teams
Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and enjoy building from 0→1
Think in systems, operating models, and scalable solutions rather than one-off efforts
Are passionate about AI and motivated to help partners deliver meaningful customer outcomes
