Our mission is to financialize and democratize sports betting - transforming it from a closed, casino-controlled system into a two-sided, fair, efficient market where users have the power. ## **Who you are and why this role will excite you** - You have deep knowledge of major sports leagues including NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAAB, Soccer, and UFC, and strong instincts for what markets fans actually want to bet on. - You’ll own the market expansion roadmap: identifying new sports, leagues, props, and market types to go after, and driving them from idea to live. - You’ll manage and develop a team of 4-5 market operations specialists, setting direction, maintaining a high bar, and making sure the team is operating well across all major sporting events. - You’ll keep a close eye on liquidity across markets, identifying gaps and making sure users always have a deep, competitive market to trade on. - You’ll work closely with product, engineering, marketing, analytics, and operations. Markets touch everything at Novig, and this role sits at the center of it. - You’re technical enough to engage meaningfully with product and engineering on feed integrations, settlement logic, and tooling — you don’t need to write code, but you understand the plumbing. - You’ll partner with social, content, and market makers to coordinate around new market launches, making sure the right people know when something goes live and that it gets in front of users. You’ll also have a hand in app programming, custom parlays, and promotions, shaping how markets are surfaced and packaged across the platform.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ - You’re constantly tracking sports culture, news, and social conversation — you know what’s trending before it trends, and you make sure the app reflects it. - You thrive in real-time, high-stakes environments. You think clearly when a game is live and something needs a decision. - You’re as comfortable setting strategy as you are getting into the weeds.
