Who you are & why this role will excite you

• Business-minded attorney excited to help build and scale a company reshaping the sports betting industry.

• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements (strategic partnerships, licensing/marketing, SaaS).

• Advise cross-functionally on legal/regulatory risk, corporate governance, and key risk vs. non-risk factors in existing and new agreements.

• Build scalable legal infrastructure — contract templates, playbooks, negotiation guidelines, and improved contract lifecycle management processes.

• Proactively monitor evolving statutes, regulations, case law, and regulatory guidance to ensure ongoing compliance and strategic alignment.

• JD required; licensed in New York with superior academic credentials.

• 4+ years at a top-tier law firm or in-house (startup, sportsbook, or prediction market experience a plus); experience with data privacy laws and regulations.

• Strong independent drafting and negotiation skills for complex deal structures; excellent business judgment balancing legal risk with practical strategy.

• Thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities; exceptional communication, analytical, and writing skills."

Compensation & benefits

• $160K – $210K base, benchmarked at top-tier tech companies

• $27/day lunch stipend when working from our NYC office

• $35/day dinner stipend when working from the NYC office after 6:30pm
