Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Product Support Team has an opening for an Systems Engineer - Modeling & Simulation position to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals onsite in Rancho Bernardo, California. This position is fully onsite with some travel (up to 25%). This position’s standard work schedule is a 4/10, Monday-Thursday workweek, and is not eligible for remote work. with no remote work available.
Accomplish
You will develop new and/or integrate existing system simulation frameworks, performance models, and algorithms. You will need an understanding of modeling and simulation best practices and techniques with an emphasis on developing mathematical models, both deterministic and stochastic, to simulate operations and behavior of systems. You will develop and integrate mission concept development, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), spares optimization assessments, Operations and Support (O&S) Cost Analyses/ ROI, and model-based system engineering. Communication with internal and external Customers with minimal supervision and have ability to communicate significance of modeled results in a clear and detailed manner. You should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a STEM field Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and 2+ years of relevant work experience or a Masters degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
Working knowledge in statistics and modeling and simulation concepts and practices
Experience with data mining techniques
Must have Active Secret clearance and your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance, and any program access (es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
Experienced with Microsoft Word products and communication experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Active In Scope Top Secret Clearance
Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools
Understanding of data analytics and visualization techniques
Working knowledge of Tableau

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
