Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer - Level 3 to support Strike Weapon Systems. There are many exciting opportunities within Strike and we can work with you to find the right placement. Systems Engineers will be deeply involved in vehicle subsystems, components, interfaces, and requirements that drive the architecture design. Systems engineers may be involved in missionization of these systems, supporting integrations & test and potentially range safety.

This position is 100% on site in Chandler, AZ.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 Years Experience with BS in Engineering; 3 Years with Masters in Engineering; 0 Years with PhD in Engineering.

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance is required to start

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Ability to work onsite is required.

  • Ability to travel, when needed, is required.

  • Working knowledge of systems engineering life cycle from concepts through production and sustainment.

  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in requirements decomposition, validation and verification.

  • Experience working fast paced development programs

  • Experience with system integration & test and verification

  • Experience with taking missile systems or launch vehicles from system testing through launch activities

  • Experience creating testing and maturation roadmaps to achieve a demonstrated TRL level

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
