This position will be located in Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Support Mission Assurance (MA) functions to ensure mission success
- Perform technical reviews of all Sentinel drawings, SOW’s, and Requirements documents as required.
- Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of Sentinel tasking.
- Provide MA leadership and oversight to critical program reviews including design reviews, test readiness reviews, certifications and sell offs.
- Identify MA and Quality resource requirements to ensure mission success.
- Assist the SEIT Segment lead with all Sentinel Mission Assurance /Program Management requirements.
- Develop, implement and maintain the Sentinel Program Quality Plan.
- Lead/facilitate segment level FRBs and MRBs ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions and reach back and reach across.
- Lead preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB). Develop and maintain Segment level Program Metrics.
- Support preparation of Program Management Review packages.
- Support Supplier Mission Assurance with technical expertise and oversight of suppliers
- Provide guidance and expertise to supporting professional development of MA & QA engineers.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience; Master's degree and 6 years of experience. or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with ability to gain Special Access Program (SAP)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience in Systems Engineering
- Experience in Mission Defense
- Experience in System Integration & Test/Flight Test
- Experience in Configuration Management
- Experience with ICBM Systems
- Experience with Mission/Quality Assurance
- An active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously
