Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to join our Guns Team at our Armament Systems site in Mesa, AZ. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Mission Assurance/ Quality organization working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.
Position Expectations:
Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Basic Qualifications:
This position emphasizes skills first
- Must have 9 years of relevant experience as it relates to a Quality Analyst
May consider bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of quality experience, or master’s degree plus 3 years of experience. - 3-5 years of experience as a dimensional inspector.
- Experience with Purchase Order, specification and drawing interpretations.
- Print reading and GDT experience required.
- Basic PC skills including knowledge of MS Office products.
- Experience with DCMA representative desirable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous inspection criteria creation experience
- Experience in a gun assembly environment
- Previous Mission & Quality Assurance experience
- Experience with TIPQA and MES/Solumina
